KMU / LCU Merger Negotiations SuspendedWe would like to thank all of you for your patience and support during our merger discussions with Lake Country United. The countless hours spent in discussions with LCU were in the hopes that we could provide a club to area children that would provide the most opportunities for development and enjoyment of the beautiful game. Unfortunately, LCU has made a decision and announced to their membership that they are suspending negotiations with KMU without citing a reason or discussion for the suspension. We would like to take a moment to thank all of you for making this opportunity a viable option. It is through your hard work, and your children’s hard work, that has helped shape us into a model club that promotes grass-roots development. We would like to thank you for helping us have a model Academy program that is the envy of neighboring clubs, and our successful select program that continues to show strong development. We feel our club is still in a very strong position going forwards, with our premier facilities and numerous nationally licensed coaching staff to help make you and your children’s soccer experience a positive one. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our club president, Ken Ward, directly at president@kmunited.org. KM United Summer Excellence CampsLast year the KMU summer camps were a huge success, producing a tremendous increase in our players' talents going into the fall season. Please contact T.C. Ward at coachingdirector@kmunited.org if you have any questions or concerns.
